Campbell Joint and Nerve Center: Your Source for Effective Back Pain Relief
Your Nerve plays an important role in your body, housing nerves that transmit information to and from the brain. When the spinal column or discs experience injury or other health conditions, the end result is intense pain—sometimes in other parts of the body (such as the arms and legs). To treat the underlying condition responsible for your discomfort, our healthcare specialist must first perform a complete evaluation and diagnostic assessment to identify your particular medical issue. We treat a number of common nerve and disc concerns, including:
- herniated or bulging discs
- disc degeneration
- spinal stenosis
- fractured vertebrae
Our treatment options include physiotherapy, massage therapy, chiropractic care and more. We can prescribe a treatment plan that will maximize recovery—so you can enjoy pain relief sooner rather than later. In addition, our staff can develop an at-home program to complement your treatment sessions. Nerve decompression uses mechanical traction to gently stretch the nerve. During this procedure, you will lay on a special table while our healthcare professional controls the traction device through a computer. A session typically consists of 15 one-minute periods of decompression with a relaxation cycle in between, for a total of 30 minutes.
Class IV Laser Therapy
Class IV laser therapy utilizes a low level laser to emit wavelengths of light that penetrate the affected part of the back. Depending on the location of the injury, the laser can be set to penetrate anywhere from 2-5 cm below the skin.
In the past, knee surgery and pain medicine were the only treatments available to decrease or alleviate the pain associated with osteoarthritis. Fortunately, these are no longer the only options. In fact, at Campbell Joint & Nerve Center, we offer Supartz joint therapy to address this serious condition and allow our patients to return to their routine activities.
